Resistance Case Study

Students choose an example (event, person, place, etc.) they consider to be an important example of ‘resistance.’ The primary purpose of the assignment is to communicate to the reader what,
how and why: What the person/movement you have chosen is resisting, how they are doing it,
and most importantly- why- what is driving them? What do they hope to achieve? Students also
critically evaluate the example to examine if there are any issues or challenges with this particular example of resistance.
